Lotus Cars, a small British marquee, is traditionally known as a producer of high-performance
racecars and sports cars. Never particularly keen on sales volume, Lotus has but one current car for
sale in the U.S. the Elise. Imported into North America for the first time last year, the 2006 Lotus
Elise is a minimalist midengine roadster.
The Lotus Car Buyer's Guide comprises of three models and four variants. Amongst the 224 items of
data recorded, the car specifications are CO2 emissions levels, which affect VED, the environment
and car tax bands. Lotus Cars list fuel consumption data, overall dimensions, capacities and
specifications plus towing limits.
Lotus will likely be providing a small number of Elise-based Exige sports cars to Lotus dealers for
2006. Essentially, the 2006 Exige is an Elise coupe with extra equipment and aerodynamic
enhancements meant to improve its performance on a racetrack.

- I love Lotus cars - my first was a Lotus Elan plus Two, bought a couple of years after my brother
had owned one. I then went on to a baby Elan two seater, after much searching. I decided to start a
small business selling classic Lotus cars and placed various wanted ads in various publications. I
soon had a thriving business, exporting cars abroad, especially to Japan. The Japanese were
particularly looking for classic models, including Lotus Europe, Elan and occasionally the Lotus
Esprit/Spirit and Lotus Excel.

- Amazing car, I have bought three of these, one for me, and two for my two sons. They love it, I
love it, and my wife loves it. Amazing four wheel anti lock brakes, really comfy for short and long
trips. Gets people to turn their head, does NOT mix in traffic, really nice handling.

- It is very nice appearance wise and a little uncomfortable with the seats a little too small but
over all, a five star rating.

- Best car ive ever drove. So fast and amazing turning. I would only buy lotus's starting
immediately this is the Best handling car in the world, great bargain for the price, incredible looks
